Founded in 2005, CocoVanilla Health and Beauty Inc. a Canadian company, was born from a simple but powerful desire to bring a fresh, soulful approach to the beauty and wellness industry. The name itself was inspired by our founder’s love for the warmth of vanilla and the sweetness of coconut, two scents that evoke comfort, serenity, and tropical simplicity.

Growing up with a mother that was a hair stylist, our founder Denise Evans learned early that beauty is more than skin deep, it’s a form of care, artistry, and connection. With proud Caribbean roots, she envisioned a brand that blends natural elegance with island-inspired warmth, a place that feels like home from the moment you walk in.

What began in 2006 as a distribution company for European makeup and skincare brands quickly evolved. Later that same year, CocoVanilla Spa opened its doors in the Mississauga area; a full-service spa that favored natural wellness protocols over the medi-spa model. We focused on clean products, traditional techniques, and creating a welcoming, home-like atmosphere that our clients came to love.

Though we closed the spa’s physical doors in 2011, the passion for the industry never faded. Now, in 2025, we celebrate the rebirth of CocoVanilla reimagined as a curator of wellness experiences that nurture the Spirit, Soul, and Body. Our new journey begins with Moments by CocoVanilla”, a series of curated spa parties designed for brides, friends, and those seeking connection, relaxation, and joy.
